Exceptional Christian Lacroix black harem pants from his autumn/winter 1993 ready to wear collection; perfect for a more daring and unique approach to event dressing. They feature a two inch wide reinforced waistband with rear central zip and button closure, which adds wonderful definition to the waist area. This waistband merges at the front into a black lace sash, which can be tied to the wearer’s preference. Both legs of the trousers have soft, fully functional side pockets and are split at the hip in classic harem pant style. The main fabric is made up of a soft black polymide and cotton blend underlay, with an overlay of finely worked black cobweb lace, which creates a fabulous flowing effect and sense of movement.

Made in France, these trousers are in perfect vintage condition and would pair well with a bodysuit and heels for a more contemporary take on traditional occasionwear. Labelled a French size 40, they would best fit up to a modern day size 8-10 UK, or 4-6 US, as the waistband has very little stretch.
